Hello, welcome to Day & Night Sleep Consulting. My name is Dayna Zaik and I am a Sleep Consultant. I am also an Early Childhood Educator 3 and have spent 20+ years working with and studying children and their families. I have a passion for helping families which lead me to other jobs of providing families with help for behavior problems in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Programming and general parenting advice.
I became passionate about sleep and sleep training when I had my son. From day one he would not sleep anywhere or for any length of time without the comfort of me. Between books, articles, google and his pediatrician, the answer was always the "cry it out" method. That method broke my heart and I was the only one "crying it out".
I continued my search for a sleep plan that fit with my beliefs and sensitivity. When I finally found the program that had a variety of ways to sleep train, I chose not only to learn the program for my son and myself, but for many other families so they don't have to wait as long as I did to improve their child's sleep.
Now that I am a Sleep Consultant, I am here to help solve your child's sleep issues.
I look forward to working with every family in need of sleep.
My approach is to work one-on-one with each client creating a one of a kind sleep plan for your child. I approach each situation accordingly to the child and family's needs and sensitivity.
I have studied and worked with children for 20+ years. I understand that every situation and scenario is different. I look at every child as unique and one of a kind.
